Spring Concert

Dear Congress Park Families,

Save the date! The 2026 Spring Concert "Earworms: Songs That Got Stuck In Our Heads" will take place on Tuesday, April 21st at 7:00pm in the Park Junior High auditorium. Stay tuned for a link to our Google Classroom page that your child will be able to access to view and use their practice materials for the concert. Questions? Please reach out to Mr. Fontanetta.

PTO  Open Positions for 2026-27

In order to function during the 2026/2027 school year, the PTO needs a PRESIDENT or CO-PRESIDENTS.

The sooner this role is assigned, the better, as preparations for the upcoming school year need to be made before the end of this school year. 

The basic tasks of the President(s) include:

  • Coordinating the calendar for the upcoming school year
  • Preparing agendas for & leading PTO meetings
  • Attending monthly school and district PTO meetings

District/Community Events

Bookworms Book Club (Grades 1-3)

Monday, April 6, 4:00 p.m.

Activity Room

Join us at La Grange Public Library for a reading and discussion of a picture book or nonfiction picture book. We’ll also do a craft related to the book.

Grades 1-3. Limit 10. Registration required. Sign up here! 

This month we’ll be reading Don’t Trust Fish by Neil Sharpson, illustrated by Dan Santat. If you or your child would like to read the book beforehand, it can be found on our book club shelf next to the Circulation Desk starting the second week in March. No need to check it out, just grab it and go!

The countdown is on for the 11th Annual Race to the Finish! Join us on Sunday, April 19th at Ogden Avenue Elementary for a morning of community and school spirit.

8:00 AM: 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk  8:30 AM: 5K Race
